Paste Magazine — which has done great coverage of the band over the years — has published a very complementary feature on the band
More love from Paste Magazine, as they named Foxygen their sixth best live act of 2013
Great writeup from Paste Magazine, which has put together some of the best coverage of the band over the course of the year. They interviewed Rado as part of the feature, and he had a lot to say about the year that was and what’s to come for Foxygen.
Missed this from a few days ago — Paste Magazine ranked Foxygen #8 on their post-SXSW best-of list.
American Songwriter has released their review of “…And Star Power.” It’s fairly negative, giving 2.5 out of 5 stars while criticizing their disorganization
2013 Best Of The Year List Mentions for Foxygen’s We Are The 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace and Magic.
Good interview with Jonathan Rado by Paste Magazine. The interview largely concerns his solo effort, but he also opens up about the toll their breakout year had on Foxygen.
Paste Magazine recently interviewed Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s Ruban Nielson, and the conversation eventually turned to the media reaction to Foxygen’s SXSW stint
Foxygen played their first set of a busy (extended) weekend at SXSW yesterday, to (predictably) mixed reviews. Sounds like the acoustics were pretty rough so previously-held opinions colored the reviews pretty heavily.
Fantastic recording of “On Blue Mountain” from the HGTV & Paste Magazine Stage on Sixth series at SXSW. Definitely the highest-quality live recording since the 3voor12 show back in December.
